I have been keeping my hands wet in the tropical fish industry and hobby for close to 50 years. Starting with a company called Tropical Imports which imported fish from around the world and sold wholesale, to Shark Aquarium which had over 750 tanks and sold retail in Union and Hillside New Jersey.
I retired about 10 years ago, but never gave up the hobby end of things. I have decided to open George Fear Imports as a Shopify Store to 'keep my hands wet'. I have keep many of my contacts from all over the world, and am still able to get rare and hard to find fish.
One theme I have practiced for years: If I wouldn't like to receive it, I won't ship it. I want every customer to smile when they receive my fish. I have spent a long time in this industry, but even longer as a hobbyist.
